In this artwork, there are several fantastical vessels floating in the sky, much like ships that would sail on the sea but instead they cruise through the air itself! Each of these celestial craft is shaped somewhat like a flattened pot or perhaps a blacksmith’s bellows with a cap. Inside one of these mysterious sky-ships, a being with an appearance akin to a skeletal mask, waves hello. This creature is unlike any earthly human or spirit you might be familiar with.There is also a rendition of Stonehenge, the ancient circle of standing stones constructed by our forebears, gracing the background. Before these age-old stones stand two modern travelers a woman, donned in what could only be described as attire for exploration (perhaps similar to that of a pilgrim, but far more fitting and equipped with curious tubes and coverings), and a small, mirthful child pointing towards these flying phenomena in awe.
